Owl- pen ,watercolor and graphite pencils

My sister Dagmar is one of my biggest supporters of my blogs, she never misses making a comment on one of my new posts.
She has a beautiful granddaughter named Claire, who loves owls . So yesterday I thought I would paint one in my journal so that Dagmar could pass this photo along to her.

Who's there...an owl especially for Claire !!!

I just checked your blog after a looooong time away. I love your artwork! I have not been able to keep up with my pottery for the past couple years due to medical issues in our family. My husband has macular degeneration in both eyes. In August 2013 he contracted a staff infection in his eye that nearly blinded him. Thankfully the Drs have been able to reverse some of the damage and he can function again. The resulting limited eyesight has forced us to retire from farming. We had an auction sale October 2014 and have rented our land. We have been enjoying camping and fishing. Recently he tore his calf muscle and is now on crutches for the next few months. So much for our planned vacation to the maritimes. So, pottery is on hold once again. My kiln is also giving me trouble but that's another story. I have started art journaling and am really enjoying that. Maybe I will post some pictures. Meanwhile I am loving your pictures of the little creatures in your area. The owl is amazing, love owls. Keep up the good work.
