Lynx - Acrylic on Slate

My husband Larry and I were lucky to be able to watch a lynx for about two hours last winter out at Ram Creek. He was feeding on a kill. We were amazed that he had no fear of us at all. We were up on a ridge looking down at him taking pictures. He would get up stretch, yawn and then lay back down, he reminded me of a house cat. I think he had a very full belly. It was one of those days where you just will never forget. Thanks for stopping by. Caroline

Merry Christmas Caroline. What a wonderful experience for you guys, am envious, while not truly outdoors person I am in awe of nature and cats have such a personality. I don't know if we even have wild Lynx anymore in the East, we have taken all their habitat. Lovely as always and like the detail. We think of your guys often now that we know what quadding is (we think we are so smart now :) Have the best and enjoy time together and your families.

Just have to say, he looks so smug and demonstrates the "cat's meow" doesn't he.
