Who's There-Acrylic on Brazilian agate-2.75 x 2.75 inches

Northern Saw-Whet Owl-We had one of these little owls at our home several years ago and what amazed us is how tame they are.It would allow us to go right up to it,no fear at all.

This is so amazing, what a wonderful piece. Owls are not easy to paint and you've captured it's wide-eyed splendor beautifully. Bravo!

The eyes captivate you ... is it peering out of the opening or looking into the hollow ? ... Love it Caroline ..

We do love owls here at the LLH. I was thinking the same thing as Christa! It's adorable!
I held a Northern Saw-whet Owl a couple of years ago at a banding station. They are very small.

I just painted an owl for a friend and can appreciate how tough they are. Yours is stunning. Really well done!! Congrats!
